Location
Malaybalay City is the capital of the province of Bukidnon, southern part of the Philippines. Impasug-ong in North, Lantapan in West, Valencia City and San Fernando in South and Cabanglasan and Agusan del Sur in East are the boundaries of Malaybalay City.

The nearest seaports and airport are located at Cagayan de Oro City which is 91 kilometers away.

About Malaybalay City

Malaybalay City was the home for "Lumads" or native people of Bukidnon. This place was composed of 7 tribes which includes the Bukidnon, Higaunon, Talaandig, Manobo, Matigsalog, Tigwahanon, and Umayamnon. Those tribes have their own dialect which is Bukid and Ata Manobo but they also speaks the Cebuano, Tagalog, and English language.

Malaybalay City was a diversed city for it was surrounded by the different race of Filipino and Foreigner people. Half of the Malaybalay City population were Lumads and the rest are Cebuano, Maranao, Tagalog, and Foreigner.

The city of Malaybalay has a moderate temperature and it has a beautiful scenery of forest and mountains. This place was rich in natural resources especially in agriculture.
